Putting Patients First
Dr. Elizabeth Meichsner is a board-certified rural family medicine physician with a passion for high-quality, patient-centered care. As a lifelong resident of Morris, Minnesota, she is deeply committed to serving the community that shaped her.

Rooted in the Community
Dr. Meichsner understands the unique healthcare challenges rural families face and believes care should be accessible, transparent, and personal—not complicated or rushed.

A Path to Medicine
Dr. Meichsner’s journey into medicine began with degrees in Biology and Nutrition Science from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, MN.
She then attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and Minneapolis, completing her training from 2007 to 2011.
Driven by a passion for rural healthcare, she pursued her family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota - Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, gaining expertise in comprehensive, full-spectrum family care.
Founding Willow Creek Health
This dedication led Dr. Meichsner to establish Willow Creek Health, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice designed to make healthcare:
Affordable
No surprise bills, just clear, predictable pricing
Personal
Longer visits, direct communication via phone, text, or video
Accessible
Same-day or next-day appointments available for urgent needs

Beyond Medicine
Outside of her practice, Dr. Meichsner is a wife, mother, and active member of the Morris community. She and her husband, Eric—also a Morris native—are raising their three young sons in the same town they grew up in.
When she’s not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, making memories with her family, and staying involved in her hometown.
For Dr. Meichsner, being a doctor isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling that connects her to the people and town she loves.
